The mission of U.S. Polo Rankings is to recognize performance in American polo by providing comprehensive, performance-based rankings of polo teams, polo players, and polo ponies.

Watch the LEADERBOARDS for cumulative results throughout the year, January through December. View the TOP TEN for monthly results.

U.S. Polo Rankings was founded in 2024 by second generation polo player Stormie Hale. Stormie has been involved in polo for more than 45 years, becoming a top woman player, a top polo instructor and has volunteered on United States Polo Association (USPA) committees for more than 25 years.

RANKING GUIDELINES

Rankings are based on a point system.
Points are awarded to teams and players for tournament, consolation, and subsidiary, wins and runner-ups.
Points are awarded to players for tournament MVP wins.
Points are awarded to players and polo ponies separately for best playing pony (BPP) wins.
Points are awarded in mixed and women's polo at the high, medium, and low goal levels (HML) for outdoor and arena tournaments.
Levels are based on the upper handicap of a tournament. High Goal = 18gl+ - Medium Goal = 9-17gl - Low Goal = 0-8gl
